How to create promotion assets in Google Ads
To access these new features, start by clicking the Campaigns icon. Then, navigate to Assets and add and select Promotion asset. This process will allow you to incorporate the latest promo code options into your campaigns seamlessly.
Exploring the new Promo Code features
There are two new exciting options available for promo codes:
1. Promo Code (Barcode)
Google Ads now allows you to input a barcode number, providing a versatile range of barcode types. These include popular formats such as Aztec, Data Matrix, and EAN-8.This feature enables advertisers to incorporate barcodes directly into their ads, making promotions more interactive and accessible.
2. Promo Code (QR Code)
Advertisers can now encode promotional text with QR codes. These codes can contain up to 720characters, although they do not support links. The integration of QR codes offers a modern and engaging way for customers to access promotional content, encouraging a seamless offline-to-online interaction.
